Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
Members of the Domico Med-Device team were honored to volunteer at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service with the United Way of Genesee County on Monday, January 16th. Along with 600 other volunteers, we were able to pouch 200,000 meals for those in need all throughout Genesee County!
We help run the 5.5K run/walk for Patrick O’Rourke annually (local police officer killed in the line of duty) to raise funds for PayitForward55.
Kids Day is an annual event where we have the children of our employee’s come in and learn about what we do and how Domico makes an impact.
Whaley Children's House is a nearby organization which empowers children and families overcome trauma. Domico Med-Device employees donated over 130 items and cash worth $500.

Whaley Children's Center, located in Flint, Michigan, empowers youth and families to overcome trauma. They provide shelter, hope and healing to nearly 90 children each year who are survivors of abuse and neglect. Through an intense treatment process provided by qualified and dedicated staff, children are taught the skills necessary to thrive in life as well as given strategies to cope with their past and press on to greater futures.
Through the Domico Gives Back program, during the month of July, Domico Med-Device employees happily donated outdoor games/activities, undergarments, laundry soap and other much needed necessities to this amazing organization.
Employees use their volunteer hours to help out at our local Fenton Community Garden which provides fresh food to our local food banks and families in need.
My Brother’s Keeper is a local shelter for homeless men in the city of Flint, Michigan with a vision of ending the homeless bench marks. Domico made an organizational goal to raise at least $500 to support their mission. Our Organization was able to meet and exceed that goal, in an effort to support our local Veterans and Homeless Men anyway we can.
March was reading month and through the Domico Gives Back Program, we were able to donate 132 books to the YWCA of Greater Flint! The YWCA is in part an emergency shelter that provides supportive services for women & children who have escaped unsafe home environments.
